In-Law/Overbearing Grandparent Problems?

We have one child. She is the first grandchild on both sides and the first girl born in the family in a very long time. His parents try to 'take her for the entire weekend' every two weeks. I work full time and so does he. The weekend is our only real time to bond and spend entire days with our daughter. His parents get mad and complain when they can't have her when they ask for her (or when i tell them no simply because i want to be with her), which infuriates me, to say the least. Anyone else dealing with overbearing grandparents who just don't understand that she's our daughter and we're not 'sharing custody' with them? We don't have to let her go with them for the weekend... it's a privilege, not a right (which they believe is their right as grandparents)... Any thoughts?

hi, im 28 and have been single for 8.5yrs. I have pretty much everything material wise, but its not what i want. All i ever wanted was to come home to a girl. I don't have any bad manners. I miss so much and im not the Player type to sleep around. Baby and liquids while sick?

My 10 month old is sick with a cold but doesn't want to drink. I know it's because his nose is stuffed up and when he drinks he can't breathe. Anyone have any ideas of how to get him to drink more? I'm concerned because I can see that he's starting to get somewhat dehydrated. By the way, we've tried formula, water, diluted juice, and pedialyte. Nothing entices him.

Is this weird... obsessing over random people?

Ever since I was a child, I have found one person and become absolutely infatuated with her. I'm a girl, and it has always been a girl close to my age. It is also always someone I know. It's creepy... I will do anything for my current infatuation... buy them anything, try to act as perfect as possible, try to spend as much time as I can with them without being overbearing. I've gotten it down to an art. And I always end up good friends with these people, yet I still have these weird obsessions. Is there a name for this disorder? Can long term stress and anxiety cause bad digestion and daily nausea?

Hello. My problem started with nausea. I was at work and thought I was having a panic attack and threw up. It has been 5 months since then and I have constant nausea,vomit sometimes, mucus in stools, migrains, anxiety, depression, feeling weak and just very unwell. I am only 19. I have had a barium test, 2 gallblader test, ct of the stomach, colonocopy, endocopy, and blood test. Everything has came back good, as they say. Well what I would do is try to get them to sit down with you and tell them that you were wrong to go off on them like you did but with that being said it it very ugly to be doing what they are doing in front of people. Laborer Biting aggressively?

We have an 11 month old black lab. We got her when she was four months old. She has been a great dog around the kids. She has never tried to bite anyone or show any bad behavior. She is a inside dog most of the time. My son has always messed with her food since we had her. We have tried to tell my son no no that's the dog's food. But he doesn't always listen. Anyways.. That has never seemed to bother our dog at all. But today my son went over to her bowl and got a handful of food to give her and all of a sudden she aggressively attacked him. She bit his face. His forhead has a goose egg on it and is purple with two teeth marks that bled all evening. She bit through his bottom lip causing alot of blood and swelling. When she attacked him she literally knocked him off his feet. We really love our dog.. But never want this to happen again. And whats so bad about this is we actually got the dog for our ten year old daughter. But the dog seemed to take more to my son. They are like best buddies. How can I get a 2 year old golden retriever to eat?

I recently rescued my golden. He was very skinny, and does not eat very much. The vet said he is at least 10-15 pounds under weight. I was traveling out of San Antonio after visiting my grandparents. My grandfather gave me a Leatherman that he never used. When I arrived at my destination, the side pocket in which the Leatherman was stored was open and the zipper was busted. Methods of generating electricity (not what you think)?

Now when i ask this i'm not talking about energy sources, (ie coal, solar cells, nuclear energy) i'm talking about methods of converting these sources to actual power. For instance coal is burned and used to heat water which evaporates into steam which rises up and turns turbines which produce electricity by creating a magnetic field. This same basic process is used in most fossil fuel plants as well as nuclear ones (with uranium replacing the fossil fuel). The other method i know of is the use of chemicals (ions) to sort of push electrons around (like how a battery works). Solar cells work in a similar fashion (exposing silicon to sunlight displaces electrons). I want to make sure the facility I choose to go skydiving with for the first time takes every precaution to make a risky activity as safe as possible. Just take out what programs you don't use preferably everything HP& power2go (usbflash software) the rest depends on you and your usage. You can end your processes too through task manager but you will need to stop them from startup as well. In windows 7 type msconfig in your search bar at the bottom- after clicking start. Check off the running programs you don't want to "startup" at startup, mostly just check off what you see that isn't important. If you're unsure what something is GOOGLE it! =D

Please weigh in as my Aunt (who had power of attorney over my grandmother) did not ask me to carry the casket. My mother has had dentures since she was 17 and she is now 46 they are starting to wear out and one tooth in the denture is breaking. The summer before last I met this guy at the local water park and we would hang out every time we went it was so awesome. Could a very short period of time exposed to black mold cause noticeable health effects?

EAA Witness Hunter 10mm or other glove compartment gun?

Am I already healthy?

I'm a girl in her late teens, slightly less than 5 feet tall, and slightly less than 90 lbs. I missed my last period and my hair has been falling out. I did have a little bit of brown for one day this past month, but no actual blood. My parents believe I'm underweight and want me to gain weight. I know that when I was about 13 or 14, I weighed around 97-98 pounds...then I had an almost eating-disorder for a few years and went down to 80 lbs. I weighed around 96 lbs before this summer, because my parents made me eat more to regain weight. I like the way I look, though...my face doesn't have as much baby fat as it used to, for example, and so I don't want to gain weight. I just don't know if I'm supposed to. My dad's in the medical field, but he's not a nutritionist, and he refuses to take me to one because he feels very strongly that I must gain weight. What is happening to me? I'm a little confused? muscle or fat?

I am a 16 year old girl 180cm and 59kg. I tried to loose weight last summer. It was dramatic and I was underweight 50kg and I had bones sticking out of everywhere. Now I got a healthier diet and I even workout more. I run 1-2km everyday, I do pilates and crunches everyday. I eat only natural food.. no processed food. But I am a milk addict, I drink like 5 cups a day..(I cant live without milk..dunno why).. I also eat sweetend yoghurt occasionaly as far thats the only junk food I hav eaten, cuz it has sugar. I also go to the gym 3 times a week, I do 20 minutes on total-body-trimmer machine and burn 250 calories, then I do aerobics, and work my calves, I do quad extensions, and on my arms, then I do stretching. and finish. I eat between 1500-1800 calories a day. And 3 months ago my jeans were not so tight and I weighed only 55kg, now my jeans are very tight, and my briefs too. Does that mean my excersise is too high and I'm becoming muscular and bulky or am I doing too little excersise and becoming fat? and how do I loose that weight?

Ok so the school talent show is ont he 10th and I'm still not sure what I'm goind to do for it, or if I'm even going tto be in it! I was thinking I would play Blackountainside by Ledzeppelin on acousttic guitar. I can play it pretty well, but I think I'd just end up boring everybody cuz its just so damn repetitive! Maybe it would be a good idea to put off having a baby until you are a little older. Having a baby is permanent. You can't take it back if you change your mind. With the economy as bad as it is now, there is no job security, and how can you take care of a baby if you have no income? It's tough enough going through hard times on your own, think about how bad you would feel if you couldn't provide for your child and buy the things you need to make a decent home and life for it. You think you will feel incomplete if you don't have a husband and kid, but what you will find out as you get older is just how little you actually knew when you were younger. It's very possible that by the time you turn 26 you will be SO glad that you didn't make the mistake of having a baby when you were too young.

my 2005 nissan xterra has 4 wheel drive and it has been acting up for some time now. When i engage the 4 wheel drive and drive it feels like the front wheels are pulling faster than the back and causes me to drive worse on snow in 4 wheel drive. and also when i am driving in 4 wheel drive it makes a loud clanking sound and sounds like it is messing stuff up. HPV and I want to get pregnant, are there risks?

After I had my last baby I went in for my 6 week check up and they told me I had HPV. I had a colposcopy done because there were visual signs of abnormalities. The biopsy came back inconclusive. No problems since then. They are monitoring me to see if I start having pre-cancerous cells. With the idea of possibly getting cancer... I want a son. I have three daughters, and I don't want to wait to see if I get cancer. But I can't find any literature anywhere about if there are complications that may arise because of the HPV. The only thing I think I know is it doesn't cause warts, atleast none that I have seen. My question is if I get pregnant would there be any risks or complications to my baby... and would I need a C-section delivery?

My cat has sorta stopped eating. She has lost weight and I took her to a vet and her bloodwork came back fine

He thought the Xray showed some distention in her intestines but I didn't have the money for the ultrasound. But she started eating again and was doing better. Then all of a sudden she stopped. I can hand feed her stuff for a moment and then she stops. It seems she sometimes can't smell the food, but I got her some really smelly stuff she used to love and just walked away. It isn't that she's not hungry, she just refuses to eat except just a little bit.

1994 Pontiac Grand Am Chugs!?

have a 94 grand am coupe. I just recently had the fuel pump and filter replaced. Now when I drive it at 45 mph it starts to chug and then it gets a little better as I accelerate and then at 65 mph it really starts chugging. Tonite when I was driving I lost power in my car for a moment. I have had the alternator replaced not too long ago as well. All fluids are fine and I noticed a air hose was lose and plugged it back in hoping that was the culprit but still having the same problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
