Were the early 90's Bad Boy Pistons better than the current Pistons team?

The new team has changed a lot over the last few years with coaches and key players such as Larry Brown and Ben Wallave leaving, and the additions of McDyess and Chris Webber. The 1989-1992 Pistons won two titles in a row and 80% of the 2007 roster won one ring, made it to the Finals 3 times. Both the old and the new Pistons made it to the conference finals 5 years in a row. They both played a tough style of defense. The new Pistons lack a Mega star, but Rasheed, Chauncey, and Rip may be names that appear on a Hall of Fame ballot one day. Isaiah Thomas was a true superstar and was up there with Majic, Bird and Jordan as the face of the league at the time. Also, both teams were known for their excellent team defense. The 1990's team defeated many great teams in the playoffs including the Majic and Kareem Lakers in the 1990 finals and MJ and Scottie's Bulls. The 2003 team also defeated a seemingly unstoppable dynasty in the Kobe & Shaq version of the Lakers in that year's finals.
