DUET HF message -- we hit cancel and let cool off for a few hours and then it works - what gives?

We are doing cloth diapers and bought this Duet used just b/c we knew we'd be using a lot of water for washing. It's annoying to have to do this and wait for it to forget it had an HF error - b/c we lose the sun to dry the diapers on the line outside. Please help.
