Does Memphis Deserve To Be #1?

UNC moved down 2 spots this weekend to number 5, after losing to #2 ranked Duke and a Doubleovertime win against Clemson (both ACC teams) without Lawson. Memphis does not have the strength of schedule to be a number one team in the nation. They have played only one opponent who has a legit shot at making the title game and thats Georgetown who just lost to Louisville this weekend. Their closest game was at home to USC, who is 6-5 in their own conference. Don't get me wrong, Memphis is a good team, put them in the ACC and no one will be talking about them. If the tournament started today, the ACC will send every school to either the NCAA Tournament, or the NIT while Conference USA has 4 teams with losing records. So honestly, is Memphis really #1?
